Bye, bees! I'm writing to you a
farewell post now for this term L I finished a whole term and I shared a lot
of things with you here, this experience was great for me. I was actually
excited the day this class started because I felt that I would learn different
things in a computer-filled classroom. It really was as I thought; I learned a
lot of things I didn't know and I discovered some things by myself.
Every week
it was really useful to learn new tools, new methods and the creative
possibilities that technology offers us. I've heard some of the tools in the
course before, but I've never used them. Also, I did not know some of them
before , and when I learned, I realized how useful they were. First of all, I
learned a lot when loading posts to this blog. I learned how to upload my own
audio files here, prepare videos and embed them into my blog, and much more.
As
a prospective teacher I think that English teachers should be different and
creative to replace an ordinary teacher. Presenting different materials to
students and attracting their interest with technology are skills that I need. I
am happy to be able to use the tools I have learned in this course as a student
and share them with my students when I become a teacher in the future. The
thing I liked the most in this course was to use the wiki for film review. I
can use the wiki in many places so that more than one person can edit the same
page and help us prepare it together, even though we are in different places
with my friend.
At the beginning, when I prepared my blog, I had a hard time
writing my posts because of the theme I chose. However, then with the help of
my friends, I chose the theme that I felt most comfortable with and created a
blog that I loved very much. Sometimes it wasn't difficult to overcome even if
I was forced, because it's easier to learn technology thanks to technology!
